A.I.Matics, an AI specialist company and subsidiary of Dreamtech, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a business agreement with the Gyeonggi-do Community Bus Transport Business Association and its Goyang Branch of the Gyeonggi-do Community Bus Transport Business Association to advance accident prevention and safety management in community bus operations.

The agreement was established to improve the operational safety of community buses widely used by local residents and to build a data-driven public transportation management system.

Gyeonggi-do, the region selected for this collaboration, is one of the largest community bus operating regions in Korea. Based on these regional characteristics, A.I.Matics plans to use Gyeonggi-do as a strategic hub for expanding AI-powered traffic safety management models. Under the agreement, the participating organizations will jointly pursue accident prevention initiatives, including the establishment of a real-time safe driving management system, customized driver training using big data, and automation of operational data submission.

The core technologies to be deployed include an on-device AI camera for vehicles and a safe driving management platform. The AI camera detects potential risks occurring both inside and outside the vehicle in real time during operation and immediately alerts the driver. From the management perspective, the platform provides driver scoring reports and safe driving statistics, enabling the analysis of risky driving patterns and supporting improvements in driving habits. The system goes beyond simple alerts by connecting real-time monitoring with data-driven post-management capabilities.

Kang Young-seok, Chairman of the Gyeonggi-do Community Bus Transport Business Association, stated, “Through this agreement, we expect to integrate AI and big data technologies into community bus operations to provide safer and more efficient public transportation services for residents.”

Lee Hoon, CEO of A.I.Matics, also commented, “Since community buses are closely connected to the daily lives of local residents, we will contribute to accident prevention and the development of smart operation systems using our AI technologies. We also plan to expand our AI video safety solution business beyond buses and trucks into public institutions and corporate fleet vehicles.”
