AIMATICS, a specialist in on-device AI solutions, announced on July 4 that it has established a local subsidiary, AIMATICS Vietnam, in Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, to accelerate its expansion into the Southeast Asian manufacturing AI market. Sungchan Yoon has been appointed as the new Country Manager.

Bac Ninh, located near Hanoi, is one of Vietnam’s leading manufacturing hubs and home to major global manufacturers, including Samsung Electronics.

By establishing a local presence in Bac Ninh, AIMATICS plans to build a customer-focused operational model that combines direct sales capabilities with fast and responsive maintenance and support services.

Even before launching its local subsidiary, AIMATICS had been laying the foundation for its business in Vietnam through manufacturing operations within its group companies. In 2025, the company deployed its proprietary AI engine, aimNet, as part of an AI-powered visual inspection solution at Dreamtech’s Vietnam manufacturing facility. It also implemented its Intelligent Operations Process Monitoring (IOPM) system at a Vietnam factory operated by affiliate company Namuga, building a strong portfolio of local references.

s of the end of 2025, AIMATICS had deployed approximately 2,370 platform units across overseas markets. According to the company, the establishment of the Vietnam subsidiary is intended to support rapidly growing customer demand in the region while enhancing service quality for existing customers. Since last year, AIMATICS has recruited local industry experts and conducted extensive market research. With the launch of the subsidiary, the company is now fully activating its local sales and after-sales support operations.

For its first year of operation, AIMATICS Vietnam has set a revenue target of USD 250,000. The company plans to gradually expand the deployment of its core solutions, including AI-powered visual inspection and process monitoring systems, while extending its AI capabilities into adjacent sectors such as intelligent security.
