Uninest (077500) subsidiary A.I.Matics announced on the 29th that it has signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KM Rental Car Service and the Incheon Mobility Business Cooperative to introduce an AI video analysis-based fleet management platform for rental cars.
Under the agreement, A.I.Matics will jointly implement the system with KM Rental Car Service, applying it across the Incheon Mobility Business Cooperative’s fleet of rental cars. The companies also plan to jointly develop a dedicated rental car management platform tailored to the needs of fleet operators.
A.I.Matics will provide its proprietary connected car solutions to the platform, while KM Rental Car Service will bring in its 20,000-member customer base, creating synergy in rolling out AI-driven fleet management across the rental market.
An A.I.Matics representative stated, “With the rapid growth of the rental car market, concerns around driver safety obligations and related accidents have been increasing. According to traffic accident statistics, the accident rate for rental cars is among the highest. This collaboration will allow us to build a specialized platform that improves both safety and efficiency for rental fleets, ultimately reducing accidents and supporting safe mobility.”
