Uninest (077500) announced on November 22 that its subsidiary A.I.Matics has completed the development of its AI-powered video telematics platform, aid, and plans to officially launch the service in early 2022.

The aid platform has been under development since 2019 in collaboration with car-sharing companies, logistics operators, bus depots, and legal taxi providers. It is designed to deliver services capable of monitoring driver safety behavior, preventing accidents, and supporting efficient fleet management. After extensive pilot testing and refinement, the platform is now finalized.

aid provides core services including AI-based video analysis, driver safety monitoring, accident prevention, and fleet management. The system collects and analyzes data on vehicles, roads, and driver behavior, turning it into actionable insights to prevent accidents and improve operational efficiency.

In particular, aid incorporates A.I.Matics’ proprietary AI algorithms, which are also aligned with 11 high-risk driving indicators designated by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. The platform delivers advanced driver monitoring reports and real-time safety alerts to customers, helping them reduce accident risk and improve fleet safety.

The platform also supports features such as real-time fuel consumption tracking, maintenance cost reduction, and carbon emissions monitoring. By leveraging AI-powered analysis, aid helps fleet operators cut costs, extend vehicle lifespans, and participate in carbon credit trading by quantifying emissions reductions.

A.I.Matics CEO Lee Hae-joon commented,
“Video telematics is an area gaining global momentum as companies seek smarter, more efficient fleet management solutions. By combining video AI with big data analytics, we aim to lead the domestic market and position aid as a next-generation telematics standard for smart and eco-friendly mobility.”

Looking ahead, A.I.Matics plans to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) tests with domestic customers across transportation, logistics, and public fleet sectors starting in March 2022, prior to a full-scale rollout.
