Uninest subsidiary A.I.Matics announced on the 28th that it has signed a contract to supply its Fleet Management System (FMS) to U.S. telematics company Position Universal (PUI).
Under the agreement, A.I.Matics will exclusively supply PUI with more than 20,000 AI-powered (artificial intelligence) cameras annually for five years. In return, it will receive monthly service usage fees from end users.
A.I.Matics, a specialist in AI video telematics, has independently developed camera-based video recognition and processing technologies since 2003 and has supplied them to automakers such as Hyundai Motor. Since 2019, the company has expanded into the video telematics platform business, integrating camera sensors into fleet management services.
The model A.I.Matics supplies to PUI features AI cameras capable of autonomously recognizing potentially dangerous driving behaviors. The footage is stored and managed via Internet cloud storage, and during operation, it activates ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) alerts in real time.
All collected data is systematically analyzed and utilized for vehicle tracking, accident prevention, and driver behavior management. A.I.Matics stated that this system improves accident reduction and enhances operational efficiency in the domestic pilot projects it has been running.
The company plans to continue advancing platform services related to AI video telematics.
Andrew Lee, CEO of A.I.Matics, commented:
“Securing this exclusive supply contract with PUI, a company with strong market presence and loyal customers in the U.S., is highly meaningful for A.I.Matics. We expect this contract to position us as a global leader in AI video telematics services.”
