[Seoul NewsN] Reporter In-ah Yoo – AIMATICS has signed an agreement with Guri City Corporation’s Transportation Support Center to supply its AI-based safe driving platform service for the city’s welfare and transport vehicles.

Under the agreement, AIMATICS will provide an onboard AI camera and device package capable of detecting a wide range of risk behaviors such as signal violations, central line encroachment, rapid acceleration and braking, and distracted driving. These devices connect with the cloud network, enabling real-time accident alerts, fleet-wide safety monitoring, and comprehensive risk reports for drivers and managers.

Recent pilot projects led by the Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) have shown remarkable safety improvements from this technology. On city buses, accident rates were reduced by 36.86 percent, with significant declines across risky driving categories: signal violations down 66.1 percent, illegal U-turns down 67.0 percent, central line encroachment down 84.3 percent, smoking down 37.2 percent, and drowsy driving nearly eliminated.

The solution is already registered in the government’s National Public Procurement Marketplace (나라장터) as a product under the category of AI video-based Advanced Road Safety Solutions (AR-100). The package includes cameras mounted inside and outside vehicles, plus an AI terminal capable of real-time analysis and immediate audible alerts for risky driving behaviors.

AIMATICS CEO stated, “By supplying our safe driving platform to Guri City’s welfare and municipal vehicles, we will be able to expand into broader public transportation and logistics applications. This marks an important milestone in delivering practical, AI-powered safety solutions.”

AIMATICS has also developed advanced AI technologies such as multi-channel perception, simultaneous video-context learning, AI-based driver behavior monitoring, and its proprietary MLOps-based Automatic AI Training System (AATS). These strengths allow AIMATICS to provide optimized, high-performance AI solutions across diverse mobility and industrial applications.
