Wisestone has awarded AIMATICS an “A-grade” for unstructured data quality, certifying the company’s global road-driving video dataset with the highest rating.

The certification ceremony, held at Wisestone headquarters on September 10, was attended by Wisestone CEO Lee Young-seok, AIMATICS CEO Lee Chan, and other related officials.

AIMATICS is a company specializing in AI video recognition solutions for vehicles. The company has been recognized for the quality of its video and image datasets, collected from diverse driving environments, which support the development of global AI-based safety systems.

The Data Quality (DQ) certification is a system established by the Ministry of Science and ICT, granting official recognition of the reliability and quality of datasets. AIMATICS is the first company in Korea to obtain this certification for unstructured data.

To receive an A-grade rating, datasets must pass stringent evaluation standards. At least three mandatory assessment categories and four optional categories must achieve a minimum score of 0.95, with an overall average score of 0.99 or higher. This rating is awarded only to top-tier datasets.

AIMATICS’ certified dataset consists of a wide range of global road-driving video collected under various environments. This data will serve as a critical foundation for AI system training, enabling applications in autonomous driving safety, accident prevention, and intelligent mobility solutions.

Wisestone, which became Korea’s first internationally accredited testing laboratory for data quality in 2019 under ISO/IEC 25024, has been expanding its certification portfolio. In July of this year, the Ministry of Science and ICT designated Wisestone as an official data quality evaluation agency. This latest certification of AIMATICS’ dataset further underscores Wisestone’s role as a trusted authority in data validation.
